HE'S IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL

It’s nothing less of a wonder how God speaks to us even with mundane things!!!

I never realised that the ESCALATOR could be used to express something so real and important. The same escalator which we stand on to convey us UPWARDS and DOWNWARDS speaks deep things.

We’ll have our fears and worries during the good times and the bad times. Take for example, a young person in his mid 20’s smashing his/her goals, earning an amazing salary, has a very good ride. But still posed with the fear of crashing, not having it all rosy any longer, and above all almost consumed by thought of being a mediocre.

Think about another individual who hasn’t had it easy all through. Struggling to make ends meet to no avail, already at the verge of letting depression have its way, and finding it difficult to hold unto to any thread of hope.

The two individuals above are in critical and important times of their lives. Most times we’re quick to forget that God remains with us in our UPs and DOWNs. We need to know that He remains steadfast in our Ups; He’s ever ready to help us balance well above all odds, maintain and even surpass the standards. He’s there to take away all worries, we’re meant to absolutely have confidence in him more than the confidence we’ve in the ESCALATOR while moving us up. If the escalator can help you go up seamlessly how much more an awesome God who inspired a mortal man to make the same escalator?

He isn’t just with us in the good times alone, he’s also there in the bad times. He’s able to lift us up from the ground, shake the dust of our bodies, and ultimately give us beauty for ashes. Those storms aren’t bigger than your God (PSALMS 107: 29), the same way you hold unto the rims of the ESCALATOR while it conveys you down, is the same way you should hold unto God when things don’t go as you planned.

You should go about with your activities popped up with so much Energy because He’s totally in the midst of it all.

May you remain conscious of this fact!
